The Special Screening of Tehran Peace Museum
Art
and Experience Cinema Group: The Miracle of Bonasan documentary directed
by Habib Ahmadzadeh was screened in City Park library hall in presence of cast
and crew, Iranian artists, veterans and their families.
The
event was attended by Dr. Shizuko Tsuya, the main character of the movie; Asakura Noriyuki,
the composer and Iranian artists such as Kiumars Pourahmad; M. Ali Bashe-Ahangar; Majid Shatti, Adel Memarnia and Mehrdad Afrasiabi.
In
the beginning of the event which was hosted by Parviz Parastouei (actor), Ehsan
Abdi, the Iranian director and writer, admired the humanitarian and peaceful
action of Dr. Tsuya and professor Gerhard
Freilinger, and then the Iranian composer, Mohsen Sharifian played a track
from the south of Iran in their honor.
This
was followed by commemorating the memory of some of Iranian victims of chemical
weapons who had passed away during the COVID19 pandemic as well as presenting
the statute of Darya Qoli Sourani to some of the guests to appreciate their
work including Dr. Tsuya, Ms. Koriyuki, the family of Ms. Kuniko Yamamura (Saba
Babai), Mr. Taghipour Moghaddam (director of Tehran Peace Museum) and Parviz
Parastouei.
