Majid Shatti

Born in 1973, Majid Shatti was the first editor of the Miracle of Bonasan.

He received his B.A in cinema (sub major in editing) from the Cinema and Theater Faculty of the Art University in Tehran. His work includes editing of TV series such as Once Upon a Time; The House; and Liberation; editing TV programs such as Crime and Punishment; Now in A Future; and The Green Voice; editing movies such as The Emperor; Like a Story, and What men Do Not Know About Women, editing documentaries such as The Outstanding Statute in the World, and The Live Wave; and editing short movies such Kaoon, Stillness After the Whisper; and The Forgotten. He has also been the screenwriter of TV series like The Firewall; and If You Were Here; director of short movies such as The Hands and When You Are Not [Here]; and the producer of Repeating Love. He is the author of more than 100 short stories and one long story which have been published in The Weekly Information Magazine.

Shatti has been awarded with or has been nominated for many awards. He was the winner of the Third Kosar Film Festival for his movie The Chess Players, and the winner of the Fourth Kosar Film Festival for his movie One More Time. He was also nominated for Best Director in 28th Fajr International Film Festival1 for his short movie One More Time; Best Director of Short Movies in 11th Holy Defense Film Festival for his Game; Best Editing (documentary category) in 30th Fajr International Film Festival for The Outstanding Statute in the World and Best editing in Fajr Visual Arts Festival for the same movie.
