The Adolescent Audience would not forget the Heroes of the Miracle of Bonasan.

The news conference of the Miracle of Bonasan was held in the Children and Adolescent
Festival House.
In
this conference, Habib Ahmadzadeh, the director of the Miracle of Bonasan, explained
that this is not a classic or conventional movie. It has several characters and
it needed a classic name. He continued that the genie of this story is not
punished, but is transformed. It is the genie of wars who its horrors. He said
that many heroes of movies are forgotten. The heroes of this movie are from
very different places from each other and seem to be disconnected; yet they
have a very deep connection and empathy. They are real, so they are worth being
watched and they can encourage the children to be like them. He emphasized that
there are two versions of this movie and one is customized for the children and
adolescent audience.
Zeinab
Ahmadzadeh, the screenwriter, said in this news conference
that his father has a very creative mind and he does not follow a specific
routine in his work. “He is ready to go where his ideas take him and this movie
is a good example of that”.
Parviz Parastouei, the actor,
answered questions on phone during this conference. He thanked Dr.
Shizuko Tsuya, and professor Gerhard Freilinger for helping
Iranian victims of chemical weapons and said reflecting kindness and humanity
of this movie was his motivation in acting in it. He added that some stories of
this movie were so rich they could have been developed in separate movies themselves.
Mehrdad Afrasiabi, cameraman shared
his experience as “This was a documentary- drama and should have been filmed as
events were happening. This is a movie for peace and everybody interested in
peace can related to it.”
Shadi
Bokharaie, Movie set and costume designer explained that the genie’s dress was
not supposed to be only eastern, but it has elements from all corners of the
world.
Mahmoud
Bonakdarnia who plays the genie, said that he is not an actor, but for years he
was the coordinator of the cooperation between the Iranian team and MOCT.
“My character was added to the movie after the first round of editing and I accepted
it because I wanted to promote peace and the message of the movie” he said.
