Screening in Washington DC, organized by Code Pink
The Miracle of Bonasan, was screened on 17 April 2022 in Washington DC
under the name “The Legend of A Thousand and One Days”. The event was
organized by Code Pink as an Iran’s cultural night.
The Legend of A Thousand and One Days, which was later renamed
to the Miracle of Bonasan, was screened during Iran’s cultural night on 17
April 2022 in an event
organized by Code Pink in Washingtom, at
Busboys and Poets in the presence of the cast and crew including Parviz Parastouei (actor) and Zeinab Ahmadzadeh (screenwriter).
During this event which was held to promote the cultural relations between the
people of Iran and USA as well as familiarizing the participants with the
impacts of the USA sanctions against Iran, a different narrative than the usual
portrait of Iran in US media was presented to the participants.
