NHK – From Sardasht to Hiroshima
In this interview with NHK, Ahmadzadeh and
Parastouei talk about war, empathy and friendships among nations.
NHK (Japan): A group of Iranian
artists traveled to Japan in Augus 2023t to attend the Iranian Movies Week in
Tokyo. In this cultural event, 4 Iranian movies were screened in the presence
of some of the crew members.
Following this, Habib Ahmadzadeh (director)
and Parviz Parastouei (actor) from the Mircale of Bonasan were interviewed
(in Persian) by NHK. This movie, is filmed in Iran and Japan and narrates the
story of three people; Dr.
Shizuko Tsuya the president of a Japanese NPO, Pro. Gerhard Freilinger an Austrian
physician, and Parviz Parastouei
an Iranian actor, all doing some form of humanitarian work. This interview
explores how a devastating force, the war, ties all these people together and
how their work promotes empathy and friendship among nations. The guests also
share some of their memories from the production.
